Our Solid Waste Division offers the HotRot Composting System which provides solutions to:

• Municipal waste composting

• Treatment of sewage residuals
• Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions

We own and operate our own composting facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is one of the largest source separated composting facilities in North America. Our Halifax facility composts source separated material from the residential and the IC&I sectors of the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Hatch has joined forces with HotRot Exports of New Zealand, to offer the advanced HotRot Composting System to Canada, the Eastern half of the United States and Barbados as well as other areas around the world.
